Education Abroad: Sports Journalism in Paris and Rome

During the 2022 Summer, I participated in one of Michigan State's study abroad programs. The duration of the program was four weeks long, two weeks in Paris and 2 in Rome. While overseas, I broadened my knowledge on the world of sports media. Our class visited the Eurosport office, L'Équipe, The Agency France-Presse, Roland Garros, the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI) and more. Additionally, we spoke with numerous journalists and athletes throughout the trip.
This program deepened my understanding of sports media, and showed me how the field operates across the globe.
